Where to find community, how to know if a community is right for you or how to start your own community!
Our speakers are amazing resources for finding community and you’ll also gain the courage and knowledge you need to take action
Find your people and communities that resonate most with you! Polyamory and therapy? Polyamory and queerness? Polyamory and eroticism? Whatever you’re looking for, let’s get you connected.
I have interviewed hundreds of people about their experience in polyamory and one of the most consistent themes that comes up is the importance of community. I hear people say things like, “I’m so lucky I found a community” or “Everything became so much easier when I found my people” or “I didn’t see myself in the communities I saw, so I started my own for people like me and it’s been incredible.”
There can be many hurdles to finding community especially given someone’s race, sexuality, where you live (rural, urban, suburbia, etc), gender, spirituality or lack thereof, ideals, values, the type of support you’re seeking, and so on.
With this event, I want to break down any barriers that you may be experiencing, or at least give you some ladder or rope to help you along.
